Was installing back up lights using reverse wire(purple) for trigger switch to relay and trailer battery power constant power(trailer tow connector white red stripe)when plugging into relay something popped and now trailer wire is no longer hot

Have you checked all the fuses. If the hitch was put on aftermarket you might have to go under the dash to find the fuse.

Ok ran 12gage wire from battery to power the relay.Thinking maybe drawing too much juice for the lights popped the wire(trailor power) but all fuse in the fuse box are good.
Under dash I'm not seeing any fuses at all?
Any more thoughts? Thanks for the reply.
