is there any way to do this? all the ones ive looked into online cost around 50 bux. much too pricey if you ask me. oh, its the one for the turn signals. i want to adjust them on both of my cars. one car blinks much too fast, and the other blinks way too slow. the car i am wanting to make it for a 87 fiero gt. 2 pin flasher if that helps any.

on the car that blinks too fast, what kind of car is it and what kind of flasher is it? as for the one that blinks too slow, thats easy. it sounds like you have the old standard 2 prong "thermal" flasher. take that one out and go to your local CARQUEST parts store and purchase GROTE part number 44710. its an electronic flasher with 2 prongs that will fit right where the old one went and flashes faster than a thermal one but not too fast. its electronic instaed of thermal so it doesnt matter if you only have one tiny bulb on it or numerous ones it will always flash at the same rate no matter what.

its an 08 aveo. korean crap, no idea what its blinker type is. the fiero is the older style 2 prong kind. i dont want one that was already predetermined in its blink rate. i want to make a variable one so i can make it blink at the rate in which i am happy with. and also when i do my led conversion, i can adjust the blink rate. so it cant rely on load.

you could hard wire it to a momentary switch on the dash, then you can make it blink as fast or as slow as your finger moves.....

ahh, i see. ill try and work one out tonight and get back to you. Grote also makes a flasher for led lights so they either will flash, or wont flash too fast on a newer car like a bulb is out or something. just in case your interested in something like that.

nah, i like to be in control of the blink rate. there are some that are made for this, but theyre 50 bux. and that is outrageous.
