Hey everyone.. recently my truck has started acting up and now the lights will not turn off either when i shut the engine off or when i turn them off at the switch.  It Appears the Highbeams are on cause The indicator light stays on at all times.  In order to turn them off i have to go under the hood and pull hea headlamp fuse everynight.... Now i had seen a forum on another sight and they told one person to replace the Multifunction switch at the steering coloum so i decided to try that and as of now i have had no luck.. looking to see if anyone else would have soon ideas to help me try and solve this problem... anything would be great.

Thanks Alot,

Scott

Years ago I wandered across someone troubleshooting a headlight problem on a Dodge Dakota.. you might want to check to see if that make/model uses a lighting computer to control lighting..  check with some of the online parts places.

Are you saying that you already changed out the head lamp & dimmer switches and still had the same problem ? If your truck has a daytime running lamps, try unplug the drl module to see the lights would go out. Unfortunately, I don't know where the module is located.
