so i got a 95 mitsubishi 3000gt, and the stock interior lights are some ugly orange lights... i was just wondering how i get to the lights in the dash and stuff (behind the spedometer etc). like a[m i going to have to reset the spedometer and whatever other gauges or how do i get behind them to change the lights back there? :O i seen on some websites where the interior lights in 3000gt's were redone with LED's and it looks 1000x better than the stock orange lights also i believe there are LED lights that u can buy with resistors etc in them? if so what size would i have to buy and is there any auto stores that would have them?

It really depends on the lamps in the cluster. If you take the cluster out, there should be some kind of twist out socket for the lamps. If your lucky enough to have removable 194 bulbs, then you can pick up 194 style LEDs and slap them in place. APC used to have a line, I believe Pilot still does.
The color usually comes from the tinted film under the gauge face. Using a white light may give it less color, but I wouldn't expect true white from a 13 year old cluster.

so how do i get my dash out.. like the gauges so that i can see the bulbs that are back there and replace them.. how do they pull out without moving the needles and stuff.. like the speedometer needle etc.

The cluster should be one unit. There is most likely some trim around it, if there aren't two screws just above the gauges then it's clipped in around it. If the trim extends to either side be sure to look near the doors for more screws. Pop this trim off. Then there are going to be 4-8 screws holding the cluster to the dash and one or more wire harnesses to remove. Take your time and go slowly, you should be able to get the cluster out without a lot of effort.
Once you have it out, set it on it's face on a clean towel. The bulbs should have some kind of twist off base, you will see the sockets that need to come out.

find the bulb types in your car, the sylvania website has a handy dandy tool for this, but i cant remember the URL.
Then go to www.superbrightleds.com and buy the type of lights you need for your car.
I replaced my interior lights with blue ones..... it looks freakin amazing :) .... cost about $20 for the bulbs i needed, but i had to make a $25 minimum order, so i got some extras.
