Guys,

Need your expertise to create a diagram for installing capacitors to enable HIDS to work flawlessly with Daylight Running Lights (DRL)

Alot of people SAY they have done this but no one provides the instructions clearly.. and everyone is different...

My issue is that my vehicle (Ford Edge) provides pulsated 9v - 12v power to power the DRLs. HIDS don't like that and a relay harness is not working..

Please provide me with what to do!

HID's require 12v to trigger on. You will need a 12 v trigger source from the light harness to trigger a relay like this :

Velocity,

Thanks! I have that same relay on the harness.. What trigger source do I need? I have one lead going to the battery.. and one going to a headlight power socket.

Here it is..

You need to meter the input (+) of the remote turn on from the light . If the voltage is too low during DRL option, then you will need to put in another relay to be triggered from the switch itself and then to the remote turn on from the light.
