I have owned my Celica for 12 years.  It is my first and only car.  It works great.  It gets 37 MPG.  I have tried to have the left front turn signal several times at Toyota, and by private parties, but if they are able to fix it, after about 2 weeks it stops working again.  It is dangerous however to try to turn left at four way stops.  I would love to get some help on how to fix this.  FYI I know nothing about repairing these things, but I'm not scared to try to repair things and learn new things.  Maybe I need a wiring diagram specific to this?  Thanks for any help in advance :)

seems like japanese cars from the mid 80's to early 90's have this problem alot. i have had several do this to me that i owned. a few quick questions, did they replace the whole turn signal switch assy ever, or just repair it, and do the instrument panel lights work now and have they always, or has that ever been a problem too? does the front signal or the back not work, or both?

P.S. great car. i wish i still had mineposted_image, it was the GTS. lucky!
