I have a EQ with 4 3mm 12 volt bulbs soldered straight to the circuit board and would like to know how to replace them with 3mm LED's? I know i would need a resistor on each, but how to make the connection? There is no place to run a new wire.

If there is room, first check the voltage on the 3mm lights be sure they are 12v.  You shoudl be able to solder a LED right into its place with one leg of the LED being cut short and a resistor soldered inline.  Hope that helps, if you had a picture of where the light is on the board I could better show you how to make the LED fit.

the LEDs your using uses less power to use them, and if its a stock car wire then its prob already fused and the only thing you need to do is remove the stock light and hardwire your LED to it. If you just using one light that is, if you hooking up more, the process is different

basically just hook it up, i can almost guarantee your fine
