Use a relay off your parking light wire. But just to warn you blue lights are illegal in most areas. Be sure and check your local laws.

I hope you are kidding with the "hot new" comment.  That fad came and passed years ago!

He thinks he has a 1996 Honda CR-V.  Relays for LEDs?   Kevin, he ain't from around here.

According to Audiovox they did not build that vehicle until 97.  here is the parking light info for that year.

That wire color would be red wire with a black stipe and silver dots.

Use a volt meter to verify that this wire gets hot when the parking lights are turned on.  Ground the black wire of the LEDs.  Connect the positive wires of the LEDs to the wire mentioned above.  Do yourself a favor and place a 1 amp fuse inside a fuse holder and connect it to the wire above and connect the led power wires to the other end of the fuse holder.

Just what we need another bloody slammed Civic, Big bore (loud) exhaust, Sparco seats, hand painted interior, 200 speakers, wiring hanging everywhere, unfused amp cables going into the car without replacing the bulkhead grommet, gauges up the A pillar, these lads pay for whole police forces in the UK.

Woops actually that got to be different, not a Civic , a slammed CRV well now.

Anybody can slam a Civic, it takes talent to get sparks ftom the undercarriage of a CRV

Think what that will do to the underbody colour changing LED's which I'm sure are now more fashionable.  I'm also sure we never got the CR-V till 98, simpler neg locking in the door ,  pillar antenna and the easiest window close ever.  I only went on this section to check out HID lights for my car but having seen the no-nos I'll forget it.
