My problem is that when the headlights are turned on I only get high beams and the indicator light on the dash stays on continually even with the key taken out of the ignition. The fuses all checked out good. I disconnected the neg. cable from the battery and disconnected the light switch from the dash, then hooked neg. cable back up and the lights came back on and also the dashboard lights. The bulbs are new and good. I'm confused, could it be the light switch itself or some other problem. Any help would be much appreciated for this rookie.

Did you recently install an alarm with light flash?

First of all is it OEM, or did you ^^^^ install something before this problem started?
