I found an old BSP low profile dual headlight kit for my 1992 Mazda Miata that I am putting back together. Other than nuts and bolts, the BIG problem I am running into is how to wire the dual headlights < color=#333333>up from a single H4 type of OEM headlight. I have the proper relays (SPDT). Here is the lay of the land.  There are two wires that come off the new H3< color=#333333> bulbs in the dual headlight kit (X2 bulbs).  Then there is the factory headlight socket (with three prongs).  Lastly, I have the relay with the 5 prongs (numbered 30, 85, 86, 87, 87a). I have to wire between two H3 bulbs, the relay and the 3 prong original headlight socket.  I believe the kit worked with 1 H3 bulb lit on low beam setting and both H3 bulbs lit with the high beam turned on.  I know a little about wiring, but I can't figure this one out. Any help, direction, diagrams or advice would be appreciated!

Ground one terminal of each of the 4 bulbs.  Connect the high beam wire to whichever lamp you want to be the high beam light.   Connect the low beam wire to terminal 87A of the relay.  Connect a constant 12 volt wire to terminal 87 of the relay.   Connect the low beam lamp to terminal 30 of the relay.  Ground terminal 85.  Terminal 86 taps into the high beam wire.

When the low beams are on the voltage goes through the relay to the lamp.  When the high beams are on, the relay energizes and the constant 12V wire is now feeding the low beam lamps along with the high beams.

Duplicate for the other lamp,

Thanks for your help.  I'm still a little confused with respect to where things attach to the relay (oem connector) and headlamp.  I realize the power is coming from the oem connector side and goes into the relay and then must be distributed to the single lamp on low beam and then to both lamps on high beam.  I'm still just a little confused as how to accomplish this wiring from your description.  Thanks again for your help though!
