I have a 2006 Suburban and I am trying to replace the stop/taillights with replacement 3157 LED bulbs. I have found a set that I really like but am having a problem.

If the taillights are on and you step on the brake the brake lights work correctly. If you turn the taillights off then step on the brake the brake lights do not work. Brake lights will only work if the taillights are on. I have even tried a resister on the brake wires with no luck. Can someone help me with my problem?
