I have a 2003 Ford F-350. The flat-bed body has LED stop/turn/tails and traditional incandescent front turn signals. Because the rear LED's do not draw enough amperage, the Ford flasher "thinks" that I have a bad bulb, so the turn signals flash fast. To overcome this, I have a couple hidden lamps hidden under the body. There must be a better way.

There are solid state flashers for some vehicles.  The only other way is the lamps you already have or a high power resistor.  The resistor will need to be mounted to the chassis to disipate the heat that it will put out.  Radio Shack sells an 8 ohm 20 watt resistor.

most after-market led taillight companies make a power resister for their taillights also.
