I was shopping for new headlights on my 57 Chevy and found these. 

 Apparently the Military is buying these and also some companies are putting these on their private planes.

My guess is in ten years we will probably be swicthing from HID's to LED headlights.

They seem ok.
I wonder what price? Though that's academic atm - I use the smaller 5" (5.25"?) and in LH traffic.

Being a complete unit, they shouldn't have the same issues as HID substitutes.

It's impossibe for 600LED in headlight now,maybe in future
