Hey Ladies & Gents,

I'm a new member, I have a E350SD Ford Conversion Van Extended and a ton of electronic equipment inside.

This new project is installing 3 48" Black lights made by American DJ, and they are going under the side Valance of the area, where the pull-down curtains go. There is plenty of room to install them up there. The one single will go on the passenger side rear and the other 2 will go on the drivers side from the front to rear. The lights will be directed to the outside of the van, it';s the only way to divert the light to work well. They will light up the Bone mottled color curtains and the inside walls of the van. I am also installing some neon colored tubing for the light to hit. The black lights are very cool inside the van and add just the right amount of light.

Any ideas are welcome.

I will figure out how to post some pics.

An under-voltage sensor to protect your battery (disconnect the loads).

I have a Dual Battery Dual Alt. setup in my 7.3L International Engine Turbo Diesel. It has the AIC/ACPM that charges the batteries. I have so many electronic items in the van I have never had a problem. I have a 1750 watt inverter that gets fed from a 1/0 Cable from the batteries. I put a Dist Block in the rear of the van to supply the Alpine Amps and the INVERTER.
I just got these cool 12V Dist units (2) from ebay, 12V Units

And I will use them both in the front and the back.
Anyone ever use one of these before?

The Link is wrong above,

It's here,

12 Volt Units

It's an ebay auction item.

I guess you cannot post ebay links here?

They use these units for railroad modeling etc.

I slipped one of the light fixtures up in the valance and they fit perfect. The van conversion company was Explorer and the entire fixture fits up under the valance so you don't see them at all.

The black light, light is mild, not bright at all, and is just right for ambiance lighting.

The complete valance will have the lights, so instead of just two 48" lights, it may have two 48" plus a 24" and maybe a 18" as they make them in different lengths. They all have a flip switch, I will keep them all on and wire them together to a 3 way switch system, so I can switch them on from the drivers seat overhead or the back/mid of the van.

Looks Cool.
