My bosses 07 Silverado has no power to the red / black stripe wire to the controller. I cant seem to find any blown fuses. The decimal point lights when you press brake pedal and all trailer lights work, just no trailer brakes. Can anyone help?

hi,

under the hood, left side.  between the fusebox and left fender, there is a RED / black wire with a ring terminal attached.  cut the tape holding the wire bundle in place, run wire forward to front edge of fusebox.  remove cover of fuse box, locate two studs at front edge...M6 and M8 threads.  select M8 stud, place terminal onto stud, fasten with nut.   should have power now.  replace cover.
