okay so recently i had a buddy who wanted hids in his cummins h13 bulb
we put in a bixeon hid kit hi and lo in hid along with 4 50 watt resistors to stop lamp out. everything works fine when its not running as soon as its running the problems begin. the low works fine but when u switch to high the thing starts flashing at random itervals. so i then added a 470uf cap and it seemed to slow down the flashing. but after a random amount of time it kills power to high beams then you have to switch to low to have lights again. how do you fix this bigger cap resistor or what. oh and this truck is a canadian truck with day time runnin lights

You need to wire in a relay to the low beam trigger. The relay will need to be triggered by an IGN source and will turn on the lights when the IGN is turned on.
We've had this happen to us alot with the newer Dodge vehicles. We use the Putco ceramic resistors and this fixes the lamp out and flicker problem, but the HIGH/LOW problem is fixed with an IGN trigger instead of using the truck's OEM harness to trigger the lights. This is because of the DRL module that gives the wire a 5v output.
We've done 30+ trucks like this now and customer understands that the HID's will be ON all the time unless they want to put in a switch between the IGN source and the HID kit.

well okay that doesnt make much sense to me since the low beams work just fine but as soon as u switch to high it will flash at random intervals then kill all power to high beams. i figure there is probably a simple fix but i cant figure it out.

Do what you want, but this is how we do all our customer's Dodge vehicles and has worked for us.

i am not say it doesnt work i just dont understand how adding ignition to high beam trigger will make lights work. would u no loose ur low beams then i am confused on where this trigger is going

The low voltage trigger on the low beams can cause problems for the HID kits. If the HID kits doesn't see 12 volts go to 0 volts on the low beams and a solid 12 volts on the high beam, then you will get problems.
