Is it possible to install photo sensor which will automatically turn on headlights? Some models have it installed by manufacturer, mine not, and I wonder if I can install this option by myself.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just have to buy the kit and wire it into the existing light switch.

A DEI 545t Nite Light System might be what you are looking for. I installed one in my 2000 Taurus recently and it was rather easy to install.  If I remember right I picked it up from Amazon.com for $30 with free shipping.  It gives me Daytime Headlights and turns on the parking, tail, and dash lights when it is dark.  Ebay has them also.
