Hello all, let me say that i am extremely embarresed being an electrian to not be able to figure this out. I have a 1998 chevy blazer 4 door 4x4 and here is my problem. My rear cargo light does not only not work when the rear hatch is opened but it also doesnt stay on long enough so here is my plan. I want to put a toggle switch in the back of the truck so I can turn the light on when I need to find my tools. I also want the light to work with the factory switch so how do I go about putting the switch in and I assume I also neeed a relay?Any help is appriciated

Thanks

Jim

Is that a hijack announcing your recently increased contribution rate, or a subtle dig at people that use pre-coffee excuses etc to cover their common D'ohs! ??

Let me remind you of a snowboarding quote.... "If you ain't falling over, you ain't trying hard enough!".
I consider that the same as I do mistakes.
And IMO, both are fun. (Though the former needs fitness & endurance; Forums only need tolerance and endurance.)

And speaking of tolerance - good to see you.
[ Was it W.C. Fields?? "Tommy should be seen and not heard"?? ]
