Hey Guys,

Recently I installed two (2) separate LED's (on each door) and connected them thru the port at the end of the module for external LED's (Viper 5701). No diode or resistor was used.

When activating the Alarm the LED's flash BRIGHTLY very noticeable as you approach the vehicle. After about one (1) minute they dim significantly and are barely noticeable. What is causing this? I have a brand new Battery.

I wired the LED's (+) directly to 12v Fuse Box and the (-) went to a single lead from the Viper Module. I tested it with a volt meter and there was nothing. However it blinks when the alarm is activated but very dimly. The other lead from the Viper shows 6v but I am not using it at all.
