Got a 95 Bronco that I'm doing a custom strobe kit front and rear on it (offroad and show use only). going to make custom panels for the lights and hidden bulbs (led). That part isn't the issue. What i'm wondering is if It will be easier to just buy a control box for it somwhere or if it would be fairly easy to build my own. not sure what parts I might need to do that. was thinking of a pulse timer with repeat that I can set the timing between pulses or even thought of using an old style flasher relay. Figure if I can get the total resistance low enough to flash it fast enough without it staying on solid that might be an option. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. Trying to do this on a cost effective budget.

A 50W resistor for a flasher can?
Try a modern flasher (for LEDs etc or load independent).
Or circuits for the 555 timer.
