I am trying to figure out a circuit for the Amber/Off type switchbacks. I have successfully built the Amber/White type switchback feature. This was accomplished with one white led array and one amber led array with a mosfet p to do the switching.
Can anyone help with a circuit to have the white LED array on for marker/park lamps and off when the turn signal is activated for amber LED array and white come back on once turn signal deactivated.
Like "type 2" found here:

I would prefer to make my own vs buy these because the bulbs will not perform as well as a custom array. Thanks in advance!

I'd also like to know how. I think I know how to do the simple Amber/White for the turn signal, but would also like to know how to do the Amber/Off if anyone could enlighten us.

There is a diagram here for a relay setup that converts the pulsing blinker signal into a steady output to power turning lamps. I will jlocate it and post it later, you could use this circuit to break the connection to whichever LEDs you do not want lit.

I may have found a solution, using a rectifier such as the diagram in the link below but would I need to put a resistor across the prongs on the rectifier, and if so, what size? I found a second picture that suggests this but I'm not sure what size..
Diagram after a relay:

Picture with a resistor:

Any help from someone who has done this please help

The device in the first diagram is not a rectifier. It is a P channel MOSFET transistor. The device is pictured in the second link. It is an IRF9540

My bad. I found the link where both the diagram and the picture were posted and it was a very helpful forum. I ordered the remainder of my pieces and parts and I'm now just waiting on shipping..
