i have a dpdt switch that i need to wire position 1 is on postion 2 (center) is off and position 3 is on with postion 1 also on, i need wiring for all 8 postion thanks

What kind of switch is it that has 8 positions? How much current will be going through the switch? Is it switching power or ground?

its a waytech# 44326 switch , it only has to send a signal to the relays for the hot side,  what its for is a fan and water pump  in one position i want to turn on the fan and in the other both but i dont know how to wire it

Parking lights = whichever device you would want to run alone. Headlight = the other device.

1n4001 thru 1n4007 is a suitable diode.
