I did a little research on replacing 01 dodge intrepid Headlight blub replacement bulb# 9006xs low beam. The differance between these 2 bulbs are 9006xs that they are straight plug in. The 9006 are L shaped plug design. My question is has anyone used the 9006 aftermarket bulbs for 01 intrepid and do they fit in the headlight housing?.

The standard 9006 bulbs will fit the same, with one exception the wires will sit on, can rub on the ring and over time can rub through. You can also do HID upgrade for better light output just stay under 6000k on the bulbs, anything in the 5000k range or lower will work.
