Hi I've just got done wiring up most of my fog kit and need one more thing. Here's what I have so far:
Ground from fog connectors to a common ground on chassis.
Fused power cable from relay connected to battery(?)
Ground from switch connected to common ground point in cabin
Now all i need to do is connect the power cable coming from the switch. Do i plug this into a fuse box? Add-A-line or something? I have a 15A fuse for front fogs in my fuse box but I've never had fogs and i see no prewiring for them. would this work? Also there are some fuses labeled "no circuit" and one with a slash down the middle that doesn't have a fuse in it. Does this mean that this doesn't connect to the power source? if it does, Could i use one of these as well?
Thanks

Use the same fuse as the relay though that assumes the switch wire rating matches or exceeds the fuse size.
Else pick any other (small?) fuse - on a IGN +12V circuit if that's what you want.
You could also bridge the +12V input to the relay (30 or 87) to the coil+ (86) and then run coil- (85) to the switch whose other side is grounded (assuming it is not a lit switch).

well, I just ran the switch wire back through the firewall and connected the add-a-circuit to one of my drl headlights. Now it works with those. Thanks for the advice.
