I've got a 2011 Tundra Crew Max with many extra's. I've got the aftermarket LED day time running lamps. The ones under the headlights in the decorative trim piece. I dis-abled the stock orange DRL's that are the turn signals. What I'd like to try and do is have the aftermarket DRL's turn off when I turn on the turn signal and come back on when the turn signal turn's off. Just like the high end Mercedes and some of the Chrysler's out there. Make sense? I'm pretty sure it'll take some sort of relay setup, I'm just not sure how to wire it up. Thank's for the help.

Have a look at exLED's stuff at exledusa - ie, their "TPC" (ver 2 & 3 etc).

Not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not ever really sure what all those control modules do. I'm looking for a way to wire them so the DRL's turn off completely when the turn signal's come on and stay off during the duration of the use of the turn signals. When the turn signals are done, the DRL's come back on.

The advantage of those modules is that they are an add on. They feature a circuit that whenever the flasher is present, the existing signal/light is cut for the duration of the flasher-off part.
Otherwise you are looking at a traditional flasher and stop or reverse combiner. That means the flasher can is removed and bypassed and the flasher switch controls relays instead of lights. The relays then connect the flasher can to respective lights thru changeover relays after breaking the existing lighting signal - eg, a changeover spdt relay for each "combination bulb" with 30 to the bulb/LED. 87a from the existing light signal (stop or reverse or park etc), and 87 to the flasher can. Normal spst relays are used to connect the flasher can to dedicated flasher bulbs.
For a typical rear reverse or stop/flasher it means a DPDT relay (SPDT + SPST) per side.
