I am installing aftermarket Daytime Running Lights that will turn on when the ignition switch is on. However, I would like these to turn off automatically when my parking/headlights are turned on. How can I achieve this?

use a relay to cut day time running lights positive or negative.Buy utilizing the pin 85 and 86 to energize the coil.

the only interesting answers are the one that destroys the question.

I didnt quite word my question properly.
So what I am trying to achieve is that the front parking/signal lamp has a two filament bulb one for parking (lower intensity) and one for signal (higher intensity). So during the day when the ignition is on I can use a relay to turn on the turn signal filament as it is brighter which is fine. However, I would like to be be able to turn this filament (or relay running it)off by either of the following conditions:
A)When I use the turn signal during the day.
B)When parking lights are turned.
How can this be achieved?
