Hi all...

In the midst of rewiring a travel trailer. I’m new to electrical work. I’ve gotten the hang of the basics. But I’m stumped on this problem...

I have two lights, each with an in-line rocker switch.
I’m wanting to add a dimmer switch that will control both lights at the same time, while still being able to shut off each light individually using the inline rocker switches.

I’d also like to have another rocker switch that will shut off both lights from the side of my bed without having to get up and use the dimmer or individual light switches. Asking for too much? 😉

I’m assuming I need...

1. Three SPDT ON/ON switches
2. The dimmer switch

How does this get wired up? Also, am I right about which rocker switches I need?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Robert

Are you wanting to turn the lights off and on from the bedside switch regardless of the position of the two rockers? Or just turn both lights off if eother of the two rocker switches is ON?

Ideally I would be able to turn the lights off/on from the bed side regardless of the switch position on each light.

Then a dimmer switch on the wall to control brightness.
