The factory switch sends out a momentary signal. I need to convert the momentary signal to a constant. Do I use a locking relay? What would be a good part number for a relay if this will work?

Do you need it to turn off with another pulse. pr when the key is turned off?

It would be nice to turn off with the same pulse switch but not necessary.

Is there a part number for a locking relay that would work for my application? If I go with the multiple standard relay what size diode, 1 or 2 amp?

This might be a more flexible solution for you.
