So I have an 07 Silverado 1500 NNBS. When I bought it, it already had Halo HIDs. Well, the wiring was sub-par, it shorted out and I need to change them. I would prefer to change them to LEDs.

The HIDs, are projector bulbs, with Halo lights. They take H1 bulbs. How would I go about changing them to LEDs, without having to buy new headlights?
Pull out current headlights, redo the wiring, change to H1 LEDs, rewire the pigtail?

LED retrofits into existing housings provide inferior lighting. Suggest you stick with HIDs.
