hello the12v fam, long time no see. im trying to create sort of an AND gate circuit that allows ~12-14v to pass when the A and B are receiving ~12-14v. the application is for an automotive blinking tail light system. the constants are the voltages present in a basic 4 wire trailer wire connector. the wires are yellow (left blinker or stop), green (right blinker or stop), brown (parking light), and white (ground).

what i need to happen is when yellow and green are hot, 12 volts is allowed to pass which goes on to a (blinker circuit that i have already purchased) but only when yellow and green are hot. how would i go about determining what components to use? thanks in advance.

im thinking some sort of SPST or DPDT relay, but unsure. thanks in advance for the assist.

Have you looked into a third brake light logic circuit/module?

YES, exactly what i needed. thanks a lot. im tempted to buy 2, and smash one open to see how it works, i spent hours searching for components to make my own. lol. thanks for the reply Ween

that should give a idea of the circuitry, there are probably other ways.

not sure where 24v is coming from i only see two 12v signals, a 3rd brake light module would be easy but also a pac tr-7 would be totally programmable for a more universal application.

Just curious, which configuration on the TR-7 would be applicable?
