Hello all. I have an '15 Escalade that I want to add a couple puddle lights to. The light strip will be under the front bumper. I want to power the strip from the stock lights that are on the bottom of the powerstep on each side. So, either powerstep can trigger/power the strip. It's a very, very low draw so I would like to avoid a relay.
Is it as simple as tapping into the powerstep wires to the new strip or is there more to it? TIA, Hoff

Disregard. I finally found the answer, but correct me if this sounds wrong. I will add a 3A diode on each pos+ wire coming into the light from the stock light.
