Does anyone have any specs on how many bars you can add to Varads HLS48 w/ the Hl24 add-on?

Has anyone ever burnt up one of thier controllers from adding too many bars to it? I was wanting to add 6 neon bars and 6 12 vlt. reg. LED lights. Think this would be too much?

Also, if it was too much for that controller, Is there any place that I can pick up another controller to control the ones on the inside? Thanks

each varad hls48 can handle six additional hl24 light bars and that is it- the output is (500ma) and that is not much but 6 is the recomended max amount of tubes.

you can get the smaller color changing tubes on the inside which would give you another controller for interior leds,not sure model number but they come in 6 inch and 12 inch tubes.

Do you have a link to some of those tubes? I searched but all the ones I found didn't include a Dcm.

Since the output is so small, I was thinking. Could I wire the Dcm to just turn on indivual relays for each slot? That would let me add as many tubes as I wanted and still only have to mess around with one Dcm, but the music feature would be unuseable. What do you think? I really want to be able to control my neons under the dash and seats and also the LED lights in the vents. Thanks
