i have a '01 accord coupe. i wanted to hook up two 15" tubes onto one 3-prong switch. i already tried hooking both neons to the climate control power wire, but it blew a fuse. i don't want 2 blow another fuse or drill 2 get 2 the battery. is there any1 who can help me hook dem up. i don't know much about wiring.

TRY THE DECK WIRE OR IGNITION WIRE 12v

three prong switch... kinda vague. i'm guessing that you have a lit switch, in which case the prongs are for 12v in, 12v out, and ground (hoping you grabbed a 12v switch, and not a 110v one)

hook the ground prong to ... a ground =)

hook the 12v out prong to your neons

hook the 12v in prong to a tap off your cig lighter, neons have a low enough draw that it shouldn't cause you any problems. i would put it on a fuse though, just in case.

Did you accidentally touch wires when installing them the first time? Maybe you connected ground to the 12+ out by mistake. I have seen switches use a 1,2,3 numbering which can be confusing if you don't have the packaging. Most will use three lines(ground), a headlight looking icon(12+ out), and a + (12+ in). I agree that you should tap into the cigarette lighter + wire and fuse it. Good luck.
