hi ....... im new to the whole neon thing...... ive seen a mate that had his neon in the passenger side connected to a switch that was connected to his headlight,,,,,,, sooo when he turned his headlights on at night all you had to do is flick the switch ..... how do i do this?? ------------- Surfer Dude

Ground the BLACK wire of the neon and get a switch and attach one side of the switch to the RED wire of the neon and the other side of the switch goes to the PARKING LIGHT wire of the vehicle. This is the easy way. If you want to isolate the neon from the parking lights, you have to use a SPDT relay & the switch. ------------- Jeff

how would you wire up the relay for that circuit? Couldnt you just hook the red wire to constant and a switch....i dont understand what you mean about hooking it up with the relay? How would you do that?

to use a relay i would ground one side of the switch, run the other to the relay (terminal 85 or 86), then hook the other coil terminal (85 or 86, the other one) to terminal 30 and both to a good fused 12V source, then ground the ground wire of the neons (probably black) and hook the positive side (red...?) to terminal 87 of the relay.
