Hello, my friend has a front grill of a 1965 Mercury Meteor. It is fully intact with two functioning headlights. He always talks about hanging it on the wall and powering them up in order to better illuminate his garage shop area.

Can anyone offer any tips, suggestions, etc in order to build a circuit that would power this pair of headlights from an indoor power suppy? My digital electronics experience is pretty good, as Ive built a few small battery powered projects. Unfortunately my analog skills are very very basic, and Im not sure how to start on this one.

Thanks in advance,

Don't build anything, just get a 20-Amp battery charger.

i wouldn't use a battery charger unless u put a bettery in line as this would give unstable power. u can however buy a 12volt power supply at an eletronics shop and use that and it even has a switch on it.
