I purchased a whole lot of LED's, with the intent to put them in my interior of my car. But I dont know how to hook them up. Resistors?? I dont know what I need will someone please help me, and "learn" me.

Or if your too lazy can you just tell me where I can read about hooking them up to cars?

I know I need a resistor and I need to solderthem on to the LED. can someone explain what kind of resistor I need and how to do it please..... thank you,

it depends on the led what size resistor you need... do you have any specs on the leds?

most LED's dont have voltage ratings, but current ratings. Use Ohm's law, pretty easy to figure out.

Or, if you are like me (lazy), MOST electronics LED's like to hang out around 2.2 volts. Just hook them up in groups of 6 in series. (each will get 2.2v , when car running at 13.2v from alternator, a little less when car off, a little more at high RPM's)

works with most LED's. - but like i said, that's most electronics led's. If these are super-brights, or others, well, it might not work for long.
