Hello,
I own a 2001 2500hd silverado. What I am trying to do is to setup the newer 2003 mirrors on my truck.
The signal LED's are hooked up and working. My problem is the autodimming feature on the drivers side mirror. There are two wires for this feature to work. Does anyone know how to wire this?
Thanks,
Mark

If it is like the rearview auto dimming mirrors then one of the wires needs to go to the reverse wire. The reason for this is because it prevents the wirrors form dimming when you are backing up.

Go to this website and do a search for the rearview mirror post or just ask the question. https://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/

You will probly find lots of info on your truck here.
