Is there a safe limit for neons?

for my interior neons, I have a distribution block from an underbody kit that I kept. Its wired to a toggle switch and to the rear cig lighter in my center console. (I just tapped the pos wire) I have two 9in neons under the dash, two 6in neons under my seat, 2 leds in my cup holders, and 2 leds in my center a/c vents, 2 leds in the maplamps of a rear view mirror that I rewired, and a 10in neon in my trunk. I also wired my underbody lights to my dome light. (took the dome light out and wire the UB lights to it)

I've noticed that sometimes, when I use my remote to unlock my doors and the UB lights come on, (on the drivers side) at the front end of the tube the light is dim and blinks a bit, kinda like the overhead lights like at a store.

with amplifiers, you can add a strike cap to keep from draining the battery. Is there anything that can be added to these setups to keep from damaging my lights? And do I have too many neons wired to that cig plug/how many can be used on one circuit safely?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your cig lighter circuit can supply 10 or 15 amps of current.  If I read correctly you have 9 neon tubes hooked up plus some led, probably more than 15 amps of draw.  Make sure your grounds are good and run new power wire directly (fused) to the battery.  With all that light they must see you commin a mile way.

Try incorporating relays into the mix

I was going to run it directly to the battery, but my battery is in the trunk. Theres only two ways to get the wires in the trunk from inside the car, and thats the cracks around the rear seats. (seats fold down 60/40 split) Eventually, I'll be taking out the backseat, and stripping the trunk, fiberglassing both w/subs, amps, and all equipment for my airbags in the trunk. Once I have all this done, I won't be able to go back and hide the wire to newly installed neons. I want to have all the neons set and wired b4 I begin this. So directly to the battery is the best? And is there anything I can add to this setup to make sure the lights don't start dimming on me?

Never used relays b4.

Relays are the best way to insure your getting enough current to what your switching on, if you need guidance, I'll or someone else will be able to help.
