I have a 99 honda accord coupe and I have gotten sick of looking at that ugly orange strip on it. i have taken off the head light and investigated on how to get it apart. The clips on it look easy enough but the caulking material that is bonding it seems to be a problem. I have been told by the local shop that you can put the headlight in the oven at 200 degrees and literaly cook it for 3 min. they say this doent hurt the housing and softens the bondo up to where all you have to do is pull it apart. If this is the best way write back and tell me because im a little nervous putting my headlight in to an oven. If there is another way reply also.

Check this site out, it may be rice but it will give directions to most of the stupid stuff being sold on ebay.

Preheat your oven to 400F, then turn off.  Set your headlight in a casserole dish, and place in the oven for about 15 minutes.  Put on some gloves.  Using a putty knife, carefully work your way around the edges and pry it open.  It'll be easier if you have a partner.

This wont melt the lense??? I have the same problem but im skeptical about it to. Is there anything you need to take off. clips?? housing that bulb goes in?? etc . I tried the blow dryer thing and trust me that was a lost cause.

No, the lense will not melt.  You don't bake them in the oven, just preheat the oven, turn it off, and set them in there on a cookie sheet or in a casserole dish.  It's been successfully done before.  See here:

It can be done with a heat gun too.

I did the first headlight with the hair dryer and it took me about 2 hours to just take it apart and i did the second in about an hour with the oven approach. Thank you to all with this.

Cool, just keep as much of that stuff of the goo off the reflectors as you can.  I have some projector headlights, and got some on the shroud that goes around the projector.  I tried using Goo Gone to get it off, and the chrome started coming, showing a gloss black finish.  At first I was upset, but then decided to strip both shrouds and it actually turned out pretty good.  If that happens to the reflectors, though, it costs a pretty penny to have them refinished.  They can't be electroplated because they're plastic, they use some sort of hot bath.  That "chrome" paint you can pick up at the store is just clear coat with aluminum flakes in it, so it's not even good for touch ups.
