ok, i installed my alarm the other day, and noticed the parking lights and ignition wire attached together. so anyways, i tried to figure out why(detached them). it seems that the parking lights don't come on for the headlight setting, only for the parking setting. i drive an 88 honda prelude, by the way. anyways, no reminder ding on headlights, just parks, and the clock dims for parks, not headlights. so i figure i have a bad wire, a bad switch(why would it send parking light power through 2 different wires for park/headlights settings?) or a bad relay if there is one. anyways, if someone can help me, please send me an email- joshfancy@hotmail.com and give me suggestions for things to try. i have searched the wire to the fuse block, and the connector was loose(before they never even came on for parks), so is there somewhere else i can look? and how do i take the switch for the headlights apart on a honda? maybe i can fix the switch?(or fix it so the parks stay on anyways, through the switch) PLEASE HELP!! thank you! josh

The switch for the lights on the Honda's are one piece and the whole assembly needs to be replaced. Unfortunately this has happened to a friends car of mine and when he replaced the whole arm the problem was gone. ------------- Jeff
