Hi,
Quick question: I have a bunch of 3 volt LED's and want to run them in my car. I have been told that all you do is attach a resistor onto the leg of each one to get it to work in 12 volt applications.

What resistor value do you use?

Thanks!
John

connect them in series of 4. then you dont have to waste the time with resistors.

yes, you could do 4 in series with no resistor (assuming they are 4 volt LED's)

I found an excellent page on this that answers the question with the equations needed:

yippee!
