Alright guys this is what im looking for. I cant find it anywhere. I want to take my mirrors on my 02 honda civic, and install leds on them so that they blink like the ones on the expeditions and all those. The thing is I cant find how you get the leds to shine through the mirror and yet the mirror still reflects when you look at it. Does anybody know how they do these if so please help me?

The mirrors that you see on those cars are basically a 2 way mirror. When the lights turn on you can see them and when they are off you can't. I reccommend something ready made.

Yeah thanks for the help man, I changed my mind after I got to thinking about it. I like the lighted mirrors on the outside, but I would have to get them painted and I dont want to have to do that. But anyway, I changed my mind because I got to thinking it a civic would look horrible w/ those lights in the mirror. You'd constantly be thinking it looked like an expedition or something. So I just decided to not go with it. Thanks again though man

civic , expedition .... civic, expedition .... nope they dont look anyting alike i think an expedition could fart out a civic though
