How do I wire 12v interior neon accent lights to my fog lights for under-dash installation on 2004 Mazda 3??

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Get yourself a meter first. Take the switch out and meter the switch to see what kind of circuit it is, a positive or negative trigger. This needs to be done before any type of wiring can be done.

i do have a meter at my house, and will test once i'm home.

Once + or - is established, what's step 2?

Okay, so which wire is the fog lights???

i looked at a bundle of wires under the dash by the brake and see many different colors

You must take out the switch, don't just try hooking a wire up to another wire. If this is beyond your capabilities, stop right now and have it done for you. It is far more expensive to repair a fried circuit than it is to have the lights properly installed.
