Hello I just bought a light flasher system for my 2000 Hyundai Elantra. The directions say to attach the two wires to the two positives of your headlight. But every time I turn the switch on the fuse blows. I think I have the correct wire connected but I can't find a diagram saying which color wire is hot for the head lights or high beams. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.
Use a DMM (digital multi meter) to figure out which wire shows +12v when the switch is fully on.

also make sure that when you ran any wire through the fire wall you did not touch to ground or you will pop that fuse evrytime.ANd if you found the right wire than i would say that you are shorting it out on the chassis somewhere maybe by a panels clips that riped into the wire or a short when you went through the firewall.last and finall thing is double check all wires to be sure you did not confuse one for the other ie(on the switch you installed) good luck
I found two wires are hot when me lights are on, and one of the same wires and a third one is hot when the high beams are on. I hooked them up to one set of wire and it blew my fuses. When i hooked one light up to one side it lashed, but when i hooked the other light up they jusr came on solid. I found no unwanted grounds anywhere. Guess i'll just keep trying other wires. Thanks for the info.
you may have good luck hooking it up with a relay instead of just direct. Unless it comes with it's own relays, you may be better tapping the 12v+ from the headlights, and using that to trigger the module with a 12v+ from the battery.
