I want to wire my fog lights to go on when i have my head lights on.  The only problem is i heard wiring the lights directly off the +12 for the headlights can overload the wires and melt them.  Is there a way to have a positive 12 all the time and then a remote turn on wire to power them with headlights.  Or is it safe to wire them in with the headlights and not worry about melting?  Thanks

You need to wire in a relay.  Go here:

Scroll down to the remote turn on lead, and use the headlights as your remote.  You should wire your lights so they cut off with your high beams for legality reasons.
