I've got a 1996 Dodge Dakota -stock everything and recently the headlights have a delay when I turn 'em  on, I start the truck and have to wait till the lights come on before I can get out on the road, according to the owners manual and chiltons book there's no relays(that would be to easy).I've never seen a problem like this before, and it's getting worse, the first time it happened was about a min or 2,last nite it took 20 mins.

Try to check your Grounding in your Light.. may be it just a loose connection!!!
