got the oil changed, had some rear light bulbs replaced.  Before this both turn signals blinked at a rapid pace.  Now...the right is still rapid, but the left is at a normal/common speed.  96 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T 2.0 FWD.  Any thoughts???

Check to make sure that the right side turn signals work. On several cars, the turn signals will blink rapidly when a bulb is out to remind you to fix the bulb.

You have a burnt bulb.

If they were blinking very fast to begin with it would indicate there was a less than normal load on both sides especially if there are LED's on either the front or rear. When they started blinking normal the load on that side returned to normal. Check the grounds at all T/S lights. Corroded and/or loose ground connections  cause most intermittent lighting problems.

if they replaced one side with a bulb that did not have the same wattage, for example a 3057 instead of 3157, it can cause them to blink at different paces.

also chekc and see if you still have a bulb out somewhere

Check to see if the blinker relay is working properly. It might have been knocked about when you had the car serviced.
