hello, i recently purchased a subwoofer with leds. i wanted to hook them up in a way that whenever i would turn on the lights or whenever it became dark outside and the lights would turn on, the leds would turn on too. is there such a way to wire that? that would be very helpful if anybody can help me and provide details instructions, thank you.

I don't understand, does the sub have LEDs built into it?

Do you mean those clear Blaupunkt subs? If not I'm guessing the led's either accent the subs or come form the port. Either way you would want to use a relay. If you don't know how to use them look on the left under basics. Anyway, tie into one of the headlights and use that to energize the coil in the relay. Or if you want the led's to come on with the interior lights, pick an easy-to-get-to light and tie into that the same way. Be careful not to mess up any wires or cut them too short. Just take your time and plan everything you want to do on paper. Sleep on it and you may come up with something better the next day; always works for me.
