Ok I want to buy a white CCFL and put in front of the radiator so it lights up the grill. But I was worried about the inverter being able to withstand both the rain and snow/fridge weather...

Just wondering if there is a way to make it so I can have the bulb out side and then the inverter inside the car?

It wont hurt the CCFL or inverter to be mounted outside but the bulbs are VERY fragile. Secure it so that it doesnt move. And be sure to seal the ends of the tubes.
