i installed LED turn signals a few week ago, and since i did that they blink faster... does it have anything to do with the draw of the LEDs being different to the normal ones??? if so, how can i make them go back to their normal blinking speed? cheers.

do a search you need to put a resistor or something in to change the current

You can either put a resistor in line with them, or buy a heavy duty flasher unit. You can get one of these for around $12 from any auto parts store. They are designed to handle variable loads, either more or less than a regualar car, so the low current of the LEDs will be fine with one.

I have tried this and it worked out great, all I had to do was buy the thing and plug it into the socket. Easy and effective, just the way I like it.

any ideas on which resistor to use? each side has a cluster of ten LED's all the conections are inside the housing, so i don't know how they are wired. thanks lads.

I haven't used the resistor method, but I'm pretty sure you can find how much current a standard bulb takes, then test the how much current the LEDs are taking, and then use ohm's law to calculate what size of a resistor.

I also think you can buy a kit that includes a resistor that is set up for these kinds of blinkers.  I just plugs in between or something like that.  Maybe do a search for them, I can't remember where I saw them before.
